Yellow Warblers are vibrant, sun-colored songbirds that bring lively energy to wet thickets, orchards, and coastal mangroves. Males sing a sweet, rapid whistling song to defend their nesting territories, often described as sounding like 'sweet, sweet, sweet, I'm so sweet'. When brown-headed cowbirds lay unwanted eggs in their nests, these clever warblers often build a new nest floor right over the intruder's egg to start fresh.
