October stonecrop forms arching, trailing stems clad in rounded, blue-green leaves with subtle red margins that intensify as autumn approaches. In late season when most garden perennials fade, dense terminal clusters of star-shaped, bright pink blossoms open to attract late-season pollinators. Native to rocky crevices in Japan, this delicate succulent thrives in well-drained soil and cold winter conditions.
