Moon Valley pilea features deeply dimpled, quilted leaves with rich burgundy centers and serrated bright green margins. Native to shaded tropical forest floors of Central and South America, this compact perennial forms bushy mounds underneath rainforest canopies. In late spring, tiny clusters of inconspicuous light pink blooms appear tucked beneath the textured canopy.
