Corsac Fox
Vulpes corsacAlso known as Steppe Fox, Corsac
Corsac foxes are highly social canids of the Central Asian steppes, often living in communal den systems shared with family members. They are superbly adapted to arid climates, obtaining most of their moisture from prey and growing thick, silvery-grey winter coats to survive extreme cold. Unlike many other foxes, they are poor runners but excellent climbers, frequently using abandoned marmot burrows for shelter.
