Clark's Anemonefish
Amphiprion clarkiiAlso known as Yellowtail Clownfish, Clark's Clownfish, Banded Anemonefish, Chocolate Clownfish
Clark's anemonefish are highly adaptable marine fish famous for their mutualistic relationship with ten different species of sea anemones. They live in small, female-dominated social groups where the largest individual is the breeding female and the second largest is the breeding male. If the dominant female dies, the breeding male changes sex to take her place, maintaining the strict hierarchy of the colony.
