Chitalpa tashkentensis
Chitalpa tashkentensisAlso known as Pink Dawn Chitalpa, Morning Cloud Chitalpa
Chitalpa combines the extreme drought tolerance of desert willow with the lush flowering display of catalpa trees. Broad clusters of frilly trumpet-shaped blossoms bloom continuously from late spring through autumn, attracting hummingbirds and bees. As a sterile hybrid, it produces no messy seed pods, making it a clean and popular ornamental tree for dry urban landscapes.
