Beauty Bush

Beauty bush produces a dramatic late-spring canopy of bell-shaped pink flowers accented by bright yellow throats. Native to mountain slopes in central China, this deciduous shrub forms an arching, fountain-like habit with brown bark that peels in papery strips as stems mature. After flowering, the persistent hairy sepals create bristly clusters that offer subtle seasonal texture well into autumn.
