Dragon-tail

Also known as Centipede Tongavine, Taro Vine, Silver Vine, Tibatib

Dragon-tail begins life as a modest ground-creeping vine with small, solid foliage before climbing high into forest canopies using strong aerial roots. As it scales host trees toward the sunlight, its mature leaves transform dramatically, splitting into deeply lobed, feather-like blades resembling a dragon's tail. In tropical ecosystems, it provides valuable structural pathways for arboreal animals while occasionally producing dense spadix inflorescences wrapped in greenish spathes.
