Noisy Miner

Noisy miners form highly organized, aggressive colonies in open eucalypt woodlands and suburban gardens across eastern Australia. They cooperate to mob predators and aggressively drive away other bird species, often creating localized avian monocultures by excluding smaller honeyeaters. Complex social groups help raise chicks collaboratively, with multiple helpers assisting breeding pairs at communal nests.
