White-spectacled bulbuls are lively, medium-sized songbirds easily recognized by their dark crests, white eye-rings, and bright yellow undertail coverts. They are highly adaptable chatterboxes that thrive in noisy urban parks, quiet gardens, and agricultural orchards across the Middle East. Living in pairs or small family groups, they feed on ripe fruits, berries, and insects while vocalizing with rich, flute-like whistling calls.
