Unlike web-building spiders, these agile arachnids rely on keen eyesight and sudden leaping strikes to capture leaf-footed bugs, caterpillars, and flying insects. Females construct silk egg sacs on dense foliage, fiercely guarding their offspring until the spiderlings hatch and disperse.
