Species
Acheroraptor temertyorum
Acheroraptor temertyorumAcheroraptor stalked the lush, subtropical floodplains of ancient Montana right up to the end of the Cretaceous period. Possessing uniquely fluted, blade-like teeth and an agile bipedal anatomy, this nimble predator hunted small vertebrates and scoured the riverbanks for opportunist meals. Its discovery confirmed that dromaeosaurid raptors survived successfully alongside apex tyrannosaurs right up to the end-Cretaceous extinction.
