Plant
Redspot Stonecrop
Crassula capitellaAlso known as Campfire Plant, Red Pagoda
Stacked geometric rosettes of fleshy leaves transform from bright lime green to fiery crimson when stressed by direct sunlight or cool weather. Dense clusters of miniature, sweet-scented white blossoms erupt atop elongated stalks in late summer to autumn. Individual flowering rosettes die back after setting seed, giving way to an abundance of basal offsets that slowly carpet arid ground.
