Green Anaconda

Green anacondas dominate South American wetlands, using murky waters to camouflage their massive olive-patterned bodies while stalking prey. Eyes and nostrils positioned high on the snout allow these heavy constrictors to breathe and hunt while remaining almost entirely submerged. Females grow dramatically larger than males, giving birth to dozens of live young after carrying eggs internally for over six months.
