Bold jumping spiders stalk their quarry with extraordinary agility, pouncing up to fifty times their body length using a hydraulic leg system rather than large muscles. Their brilliant iridescent green or blue chelicerae flash during intricate visual courtship displays, where males wave painted forelegs to attract mates. Curious and alert, these energetic hunters frequent sunlit fences, gardens, and exterior walls in search of insects.
