Common Hentz jumping spiders are slender, long-legged hunters frequently seen patrolling the foliage of trees, shrubs, and garden plants. Males display striking elongate chelicerae and translucent green to bronze coloration that blends seamlessly against sunny leaves. Using exceptionally keen eyesight and precise leaps, they actively stalk small insects across leaf surfaces without relying on silk webs.
