Staurikosaurus pricei

Staurikosaurus pricei

Staurikosaurus pricei was a slender, bipedal carnivore built for rapid sprints across the ancient floodplains of southern Brazil. Its lightweight skull housed sharp, recurved teeth alongside a specialized jaw joint capable of sliding back and forth to manipulate struggling prey. Powered by elongate hind limbs and balanced by a stiff, rod-like tail, this nimble hunter navigated an ecosystem dominated by large pseudosuchians.
