Peperomia griseoargentea

Ivy peperomias grow in the humid, filtered understory of Brazilian rainforests, forming compact rosettes of cordate leaves with deeply corrugated ridges and a silvery metallic sheen. During warm months, tiny greenish-white flowers pack tightly along slender, arching spikes that project above the foliage like mouse tails. Semi-succulent stems and fleshy petioles store moisture efficiently, allowing the plant to tolerate brief dry spells between rainforest downpours.
