Plant
Pink Jasmine
Jasminum polyanthumAlso known as Many-flowered Jasmine, White Jasmine
Pink jasmine is a vigorous evergreen climber renowned for producing dense masses of reddish pink buds that unfurl into star-shaped, porcelain-white flowers with an intensely sweet perfume. Native to montane valleys and forest edges across southern China and Myanmar, its rapid twining stems can climb over ten meters into tree canopies. Outside its native range, particularly in Australia and New Zealand, its aggressive growth allows it to smother understory vegetation and outcompete native ground cover.
