Bold evergreen foliage featuring bright yellow or ivory veins makes Sanchezia speciosa a striking understory plant in tropical landscapes. Tubular yellow blooms emerge from rich red bracts, producing abundant nectar that actively attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Native to wet South American rainforests, it thrives in warm, humid microclimates and moist, well-drained soils.
