Star jasmine forms a dense, scrambling evergreen shrub blanketed in pristine white blossoms shaped like pointed starbursts. Native to South Asia, its stems and leaf undersides are clad in soft, velvety hairs that give foliage a distinctive frosted texture. Widely planted across warm climates for ornamental hedging, it blooms prolifically from late winter through spring.
