Trailing Treasureflower forms low mats of dense silver-green foliage topped by large daisy-like blossoms in vivid shades of yellow, orange, and bronze. The flower heads respond dynamically to sunlight, opening wide under clear daytime skies and closing tightly at night or during overcast weather. Native to coastal dunes of southern Africa, it stabilizes sandy soils with a deep taproot and thrives in poor, drought-prone environments.
