Garden petunias dazzle landscapes with trumpet-shaped blossoms that span nearly every shade of the rainbow. These prolific bloomers produce sticky, aromatic foliage covered in fine glandular hairs that deter many small herbivorous insects. Modern cultivars thrive in sunny borders, hanging baskets, and containers, blooming continuously from late spring until the first winter frost.
