Siberian bugloss forms lush mounds of large, heart-shaped leaves that create dense ground cover in moist, shaded woodlands. In early spring, sprays of tiny, vivid blue flowers rise above the foliage, closely echoing the delicate blossoms of true forget-me-nots. As summer progresses, the bold textured leaves remain attractive, often displaying striking silver or cream variegated patterns in cultivated varieties.
