Never Never Plant decorates the rainforest floor with striking asymmetrical leaves that feature silver-green surfaces brushed with dark green veins and vivid dark purple undersides. Like other members of the prayer plant family, it raises its foliage vertically at sunset in a daily ritual called nyctinasty. Under the dense canopy of tropical forests, this evergreen perennial forms bushy clumps that thrive in damp, dappled shade.
