Crested goshawks maneuver deftly through dense canopy, hunting birds, small mammals, and reptiles with explosive bursts of speed. During courtship displays, males perform high aerial swoops and distinctively flutter their short wings while flaring white undertail covert feathers. They adapt remarkably well to mature urban parks across tropical Asia, often announcing their presence with high-pitched whistles.
