Dalmatian Pelican

The Dalmatian Pelican is an enormous pale waterbird with silvery curled nape feathers, broad wings, and a long pouched bill. It fishes in shallow lakes and lagoons, sometimes cooperating in loose groups, and breeds colonially on low islands or dense vegetation.
