Also known as Common Green Mamba, White-Mouthed Mamba

Eastern green mambas spend the vast majority of their lives high in the lush canopy of coastal East Africa. Excellent camouflage among sunlit leaves allows them to stalk birds and small mammals in near-total silence. Males engage in dramatic wrestling matches during the spring breeding season, twisting together for hours to establish dominance.
