Indian bullfrogs are massive wetland amphibians renowned for their dramatic seasonal transformations. During the summer monsoons, males change from cryptic olive-green to electric yellow with vivid cobalt-blue vocal sacs to attract mates in crowded breeding choruses. Armed with powerful back legs and strong jaws, adults consume almost any creature small enough to swallow, from crop pests to small snakes and birds.
