Squirrel Tree Frog

Squirrel tree frogs are highly adaptable amphibians famous for their raspy, squirrel-like scolding calls that fill the air before and after summer rains. These master shape-shifters easily transition from bright green to dull brown within minutes to match their immediate surroundings. They frequently colonize suburban gardens, clinging to window panes and porch lights at night to snatch up attracted insects.
