Pantropical huntsman spiders are swift, free-roaming nocturnal predators that hunt without webs, relying on impressive speed and agility to ambush prey. Easily recognized by their flattened bodies and sideways leg stance, these spiders seamlessly navigate vertical walls, ceilings, and tree trunks in search of insects. Females carry their disc-shaped egg sacs beneath their bodies until the spiderlings hatch, guarding them attentively.
